Deputy General Manager – Quality Control

We are looking for a seasoned Quality Control leader to take charge of QC operations in an API manufacturing environment. The Deputy General Manager – QC will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the highest standards of quality across all laboratory functions, ensuring strict compliance with global regulatory requirements such as GMP, GLP, USFDA, MHRA, WHO, and other international guidelines. This role demands strong technical expertise in analytical methods, stability studies, and validation processes, along with the ability to oversee routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using advanced techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and other modern instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee QC operations for API manufacturing.

Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines (USFDA, MHRA, WHO, etc.).

Manage analytical method validation, stability studies, and documentation.

Supervise routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

Coordinate with QA, production, and regulatory teams for audit readiness.

Drive continuous improvement, training, and team development.

Qualifications

M.Sc. / M.Pharm / Ph.D. in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Sciences.

12–18 years of QC experience in API/pharma industry.

Strong knowledge of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, UV, IR, etc.).

Experience in handling regulatory inspections and audits.

Leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
