Manager Business Development

Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to
achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs,
and competitive landscape, informing strategic decisions.
• Brand Development: Enhance brand presence through targeted marketing campaigns,
digital initiatives, and participation in industry events.
• Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear objectives, monitoring
performance, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Client Acquisition & Retention: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients,
addressing their logistics needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and customer
service, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Reporting: Provide regular sales and marketing performance reports to senior
management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
• Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of
resources to maximize ROI.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related
field. An MBA is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in sales and marketing roles within the logistics or freight
forwarding industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Skills:

•Strong understanding of international shipping, import/export processes, and
freight forwarding logistics.
