VAN PNM Product Development

Seeking a System Responsible Engineer in experience in automotive electronics and ECU development. The role involves product development and series support for EE components, coordination of change requests, supplier FMEA monitoring, test drives, and SW release validation. Candidates should have strong knowledge of automotive electronics, ECU functional testing, and global OEM/Tier‑1 processes, with preferred skills in Vector tools, CAN/FLEXRAY/LIN/Ethernet protocols, and DOORS/PREEVision.

Responsibilities

Development and series support for EE components ensuring compliance with regulations, quality, cost, and project objectives.

Coordination of change requests and monitoring supplier component‑FMEA.

Provision and management of samples (vehicle, board, S‑HIL, C‑HIL).

Logistics coordination for plants post blank‑release.

Support in creation and release of test/commissioning regulations (PIV).

Organize and participate in test drives (winter/summer).

Participation in SW release, vehicle testing, and certification of vehicle coding data.

Skills & Experience

Strong automotive electronics domain knowledge, especially ECU development.

Experience with Body electronics, Powertrain, and Safety systems.

Familiarity with OEM/Tier‑1 development processes and global collaboration.

Hands‑on experience with medium complexity ECUs (Cluster, Seat Control, Immobilizer, Keyless Entry).

Strong problem‑solving, mentoring, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Vector tools (CANOE, CANape), Softing DTS Monaco.

Protocol knowledge: CAN, FLEXRAY, LIN, Ethernet.

Tools: DOORS, PREEVision.

Exposure to multicultural environments and global teams.

Qualification

B.E/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation.

3–6 years of experience in automotive electronics system development.
