Manager – International Sales (Power Transmission)

Manager – International Sales to drive global business development and sales growth for Power Transmission Products, EPC Projects, Conductors, Transmission Line Hardware, Substation Equipment, and related power infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying international business opportunities, managing key accounts, developing strategic partnerships, and securing contracts across utilities, EPC contractors, government organizations, and power sector clients worldwide.

Responsibilities

International Business Development

  • Develop and execute international sales strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities across Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, Latin America, and other global markets.
  • Build strong relationships with utilities, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors, and government agencies.

Sales & Account Management

  • Manage end-to-end sales activities from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key international customers.
  • Conduct client meetings, product presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.
  • Achieve annual sales targets and profitability objectives.

EPC & Project Sales

  • Promote transmission line hardware, conductors, substation products, and EPC solutions.
  • Participate in international tenders, bids, and project proposals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and project execution teams for successful bid submissions.
  • Track project opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline.

Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging opportunities.
  • Identify potential partners, agents, and distributors in target regions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for business expansion and market penetration.

Contract & Commercial Management

  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, pricing, and payment conditions.
  • Manage export documentation, logistics coordination, and international trade compliance.
  • Ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with utility companies, transmission operators, EPC firms, and infrastructure developers.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Required Qualifications

  • BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
  • MBA in International Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.

Experience

  • 5–11 years of experience in International Sales, Export Sales, or Business Development.
  • Proven experience in Power Transmission, Conductors, Transmission Line Hardware, EPC Projects, Substations, Switchgear, or Power Infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong exposure to global utility and infrastructure markets
