Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee and manage sales operations within a designated region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and leading a team of sales representatives to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee sales operations in the assigned area
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar role (minimum 3+ years)
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
  • Ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region

Preferred:

  • Experience in [specific industry, e.g., FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals]
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
