Store Manager

Role Overview: The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales to achieve store objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a keen understanding of retail management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Management:
    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
    • Monitor sales performance and analyze trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of associates.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  3. Customer Service:
    • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  4. Inventory Management:
    • Oversee inventory control processes, including stock replenishment and loss prevention.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage product displays to enhance sales.
  5. Store Operations:
    • Ensure the store operates efficiently and adheres to company policies and procedures.
    • Manage scheduling, payroll, and labor costs to meet budgetary goals.
  6. Visual Merchandising:
    • Maintain an appealing store environment through effective visual merchandising and presentation.
    • Implement promotional displays and ensure product placement aligns with marketing strategies.
  7. Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage the store budget, analyzing financial reports to track performance.
    • Implement cost-saving measures and enhance operational efficiency.
  8. Community Engagement:
    • Build relationships within the community to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
    • Participate in local events and initiatives to promote the store.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Proficient in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
